Origin:
Kanjeevaram sarees are made in the Kanchipuram region in Tamil Nadu. The fabric bears the images of all the scriptures embossed on the walls of the temples of the Kanchipuram village.
Fabric:
Art silk is manufactured by synthetic fibres like rayon. It’s light in weight and is soft on the skin for comfort in summers.
Ornamentation:
Zari work is known for the art of weaving threads in golden and silver colours. It involves the process of twisting a flattened metallic strip, which sometimes is made from pure gold and silver.
